As we prepare for our flight to California, I realized that I never shared our Canada and NYC photos!
Last month, both sets of parents and Chris’ grandma were in town for his graduation. They were all here for a week, so we took the opportunity to drive up to the Canada side of the Niagara Falls, Toronto, and NYC. Here are some photos taken on my iPhone.
While I didn’t like the area around the Falls too much (I’m not a fan of super touristy areas), I did like the view! Our hotel was about a block away, so we could hear the roar of the water. Oh, and of course I had to get my Starbucks mug ;) We made a quick trip to Toronto to check out the CN Tower– I tried to convince Chris to do the EdgeWalk but he wasn’t having any of it! I settled for the glass floor.
A panoramic view of Lake Ontario from the CN Tower. Kind of reminds me of Flight Control.
After my parents left to go back home to Japan, we took Chris’ parents around NYC. One of our stops was the 9/11 Memorial. Aside from the obvious sadness of the memorial, it’s a beautiful place.
We really will miss being so close (>2 hour drive) and being able to take day trips up there. Good thing SFO has direct flights to JFK ;)
