This past weekend, we were in Vegas to celebrate Christine and Christian’s church ceremony and their reception. Last year, they eloped in NYC, but they both really wanted the church blessing over their marriage. Of course, their family and friends wouldn’t let them get away without having an AMAZING party! It was such a great day and I’m so happy that Christine and Christian trusted us with their photos (again, hehe).
C&C, we LOVE you guys! <333
I was so excited about these photos that I powered through them so a blog post could go up asap. Here are our favorites (and there are a lot of them!). To date, this was our biggest wedding in terms of images captured…meaning more photos on the blog!
We started the day off at the Cosmopolitan…the suite was beautiful, and not only did it have amazing light, we had this view!
Christian has great taste in shoes– he picked out Christine’s Badgley Mischka shoes!
Christine’s amazing brooch bouquet made by her friend Kim.
Something blue, sewn into the tulle of Christine’s dress.
Labor of love: at one point, Christine mentioned she wanted a thousand paper cranes. Her best friends delivered and surprised them at the rehearsal dinner.
While Christian went the traditional route and handwrote his letter to Christine…
…Christine went high tech and emailed him! ;)
Christine said her mom doesn’t show too much emotion…but that changed when Christine was fully dressed in her gown.
Chris was next door with the guys…some of whom were ready for the reception!
Christian with his brother and best man, Jayce.
And with his sister, Joie.
Like a BOSS!
I LOVE this look on Christian’s face as Christine walks down the aisle!
One of my favorite images of the day:
Normally I don’t post family formals, but this one is so sad and funny that I had to! You know how small kids are…one starts crying and the others follow!
Even though we were in Vegas and it was 106 degrees outside, the tent reception was surprisingly cool and breezy. The details were simple, modern, and beautiful.
Best wedding party EVER. Seriously, these guys and gals made our job so much easier by knowing how to rock out photos!
Sunset at TPC…holy moly.
One benefit of having two photographers is capturing the same moment from different angles. Chris and I were about 10 feet apart. My angle:
And another one because sunflare is cool!
Louie from Cakeflix asked Christine to run into Christian’s arms for the video…and we got this stunning image:
First dance…so sweet!
HUGE surprise of the evening! It was time for the garter toss, and Jayce made himself into a chair. Then the DJ asked the guests if they wanted to see Christian dance for his bride! Of course, everyone yelled out “YES!!!!” and hilarity ensues!
When you get a former football player booty dancing to “What Makes You Beautiful” by One Direction, you will never hear the song again without cracking up! This was especially hilarious for Chris and me because we’ve NEVER seen this side of Christian before– he’s usually the one observing others. I guess when you’re in the spotlight, you better give them something to talk about! Christine’s reaction was PRICELESS!
The day wouldn’t have been a success without this fabulous team of vendors– we’re so blessed to have the opportunity to work with them!
