Once you know how to access the inside of the Amana washing machine, you can diagnose, test and replace faulty components. Amana cabinets with toe panels on the front require a different approach to disassembly. Amana cabinets that do not have toe panels are removed from the washer in a single piece.

Hello Paula, thank you for your question. To locate the leak we would recommend removing the bottom front panel, and with a flashlight watch the inside of the tub as the cycle starts. There are some hoses from the tub to the pump and the pump to the drain hose that discharges the water. I would check there first. I hope this helps.

Hello Paula, thank you for your question. To locate the leak we would recommend removing the bottom front panel, and with a flashlight watch the inside of the tub as the cycle starts. There are some hoses from the tub to the pump and the pump to the drain hose that discharges the water. I would check there first. I hope this helps.

Disassembling your dryer is a relatively simple task that anyone can do with a little practice. The key when disassembling the dryer is to set all the pieces in a line in reverse order from how you disassembled them for easy reassembly.
Raise the top and let it rest on the wall behind the dryer. Remove the screws holding the front panel to the cabinet and lift the front panel off the clips at the bottom.
