I died due to lag while riding around on my horse in my survival world and using MCedit, have been trying to find my stuff. I didn’t have a whole lot on me, but it shouldn’t have despawned and I can’t find it.

If you were moving around then it is unlikely you’ll find the exact coordinates, however if you just recently teleported to that area and only moved a little bit before changing your gamemode, the coords you teleported to should be in your client log. Just open your minecraft folder and look for logs, then look for the date/time you were online.
26/12/2014 · What map are you using? If you use voxelmap, then you should be able to see coordinates for your waypoints- Not sure about Journeymap though. If you cant find it, don’t worry. A moderator can find your death, when he/she logs in. Just be patient.
It is very difficult to find where i died especially in the dungeons of the moon where I just mine crazily and die to the ghost. I am playing on my server but I can’t find any death location in the log. Am I missing something or is there other way to find my death location?

You have played minecraft before right? Your stuff might despawn after a certain amount of time and i mean, if you wantedto be able to find where you went you should have marked your path. But remember there will literally always be more of everything so just go get some 🙂
08/06/2014 · Our server really needs a plugin to allow players in certain worlds to respawn in the same world they died in. I only need it for a couple worlds, so the plugin would have to have a config file where I could add the world name to a list where I want the plugin to work.

Or you can create a compass and follow it to your original spawn. This only works if your house is near your original spawn point, or if you were on a bed before you died inside or near your house. Anyways, I was able to get a hold of a mod who is also a fan of DBZ and he was able to help me by giving me the cords of where I died so I could find my stuff (cause it was way out there).

Load your map into McEdit – this will let you fly around in the world and look for your bed. When you find it just put down your character there, load the map in regular Minecraft and you should be fine. Press F3 after this and check the beds coordinates, write them down in case of future situations like this.
